Webb Bridge

The artfully entwined structure of Webb Bridge inspires many possible associations: from snake to sea shells or fishing net to boomerang. The new landmark at Melbourne Docklands works as a link across the Yarra River as well as a meeting point and a pleasant place to be.

Conceived as a mixture of art and infrastructure, the conversion of the old Webb Dock Rail Bridge into the new pedestrian link was delivered under a local requirement for developers to contribute to public art.
