While sitting in harmony aesthetically with the buildings elegant and contemporary design, Night Watch (working title) calls upon the history of the previous building on this site - the old H.Pole Printery, founded in 1915. Night Watch generates messages that are visible to the public via a low emissions (LED) lighting system. The work will function as a beacon, a signal or a clock tower, generating messages and pulses that offer a compelling response and heart beat of the city. The artwork will capture attention and may ignite engagement with its audience. Artist Robyn Backen.
